Natural light does the rest, creating shadows that make the relief even more pronounced.

The process: from your idea to the finished product

When someone requests a custom panel, the process follows these steps:

1. We receive the image — it can be a photo of your cat, your company logo, a hand-drawn sketch, a manga panel you love. As long as the resolution is decent, we can work with it.
2. We convert it to depth — the image is transformed into a three-dimensional model where each tone corresponds to a height. Shadows become depth, outlines become sharp edges.
3. We send you a preview — before printing, you receive a digital visualization of the result. If you want to adjust proportions, contrast, or details, this is the time.
4. We print and ship — after your approval, the panel is printed in FDM with high-quality PLA+ filament. Piece-by-piece visual inspection. Tracked shipping across Italy and internationally.

Why not all panels are created equal

The difference between a well-executed panel and a mediocre one comes down to process care. Here is what makes a professional result:

• Calibrated contrast — a too-flat image produces weak relief, an overly contrasted one loses shadow detail. The right calibration is a craft decision, not automatic.
• Layer resolution — thinner layers produce smoother transitions between height levels. The finer the print, the more defined the result.
• Filament choice — white or black PLA+ for monochrome panels, vivid colors for subjects that call for it. Material directly affects the final visual outcome.
